311 sprinter 2001 oil light

Hi, My oil light on my camper van 311cd.X reg. keeps beeping and telling me oil is low, although all is correct,
could it be the sensor ?, oil change did not cure it? how big is the job if its sensor?? thanks anyone., Barney.
