Yours is definately not the same engine as a 300d, a 300 d is a six pot, yours is the 5 pot 602 engine the tighten down proccess is quite complicated, as the man said try e-bay,Sprinter, i got a crude manual for £13 Roy
Be careful with that manual... I followed the torque settings in it for injector bolts and it is wrong- sheared one off & it took me over 3 hours to get the remains out. I checked with my MB dealer when I picked up the new bolt & the setting should be about two thirds of what that manual said.
Just a tip, what I tend to do with my vans is DO NOT ASK AT THE FRONT DESK OF THE MERC DEALERS, they will tell you nothing, try and ask one of the fitters, when there on walkabout ! most will tell you what you want to know regarding doing jobs, or settings.
When they see me they say "Here he comes again", and laugh, but as long as I find out what I want, no worries ! Sorry but £65 per hour hurts me !
c 250 td, 310 Spinter, 316 cdi sprinter, all wonerfull till something goes wrong ! then the nightmares begin!
