320 Cdi New Purchase Advice

HI All I Am Thinking Of Trading In My 240 V6 E Class Estate 98 With 93000 Miles Or Will take An Offer From A club Member ,but I Am Thinking Of Buying A 320 Cdi 53 Plate Ex Police Estate With 160000 Miles On The Clock ,is There Anything I Should Look for On This Model As I Am New To Cdi Models ,if Any Member Is Intrested In My 2.4 Before I Trade It Call Me On 07974 088812 ,looking For £3 K

53 plate, will be good or very bad, early ones had a lot of software faults, even broken springs, oil in water, injectors, high pressure pumps if money allows i would go for at least a 55 plate, then you be a lot safer, but as said there is a lot of good ones out there still, and beening a ex police car it should be up together, hard choice!!

If you can check its service history and the above list of items have been 'fixed' then it should be a decent car..if not then there could be trouble ahead..without the moonlight and the roses .....
