I have a 2002 320 CDI, it suddenly refuses to exceed 3000 rpm, is very low on power and refuses to kick down, I feel it is a throttle problem, it is just as if the car is only registering half throttle even if the pedal is to the floor. Any ideas???

Hello, it will be the MAF filter that needs to be replaced, this is a standard fault 99% it is the MAF.

If you are refering to the air filter, changed that on Friday, no difference, also changed fuel filter.

The Mass Airflow Sensor (MAS) is situated in the ducting between your airflter and the engine has a loom connection to it and is usually held in place by a couple of Torx screws which may be of the security type, hope this helps;)
