Hi, I have an H reg MB estate and I'm having a bad time at the moment, first my squeaky steering (on another forum if anyone can help!) and a few weeks ago my little darling nephews played with my electric seats and they got stuck in a very uncomfortable position. We changed the fuses but 5 fuses later after they had all blown we are no further forward - literally!!!!! Can anybody help.

:p

When the seats are moved right back the seat can come off the runner. Have someone hold the switch down (to move the seat forward) while you hold the back of the seat and guide it back onto the runner

There are plastic plugs in the track to stop this happening but they get forced out by the seats

thank yo Bolide

Dear Bolide
Thank you very much for your help - you seem to be the person I need to keep in touch with - I am very grateful. The seat bit that keeps fusing is the button which moves the back of the seat and the headrests. I am feeling you think I'm squashed up against my steering wheel! I'm not, I'm hunched forward! Thanks again in anticipation :)
