320te fix or sell?

Had a nice discovery on our 94 E320te yesterday, found oil in the water header tank..great! Now then we were going to sell the car next month in order to downsize from 3 to 2 cars, and this has given us a choice. My indy who is the cats whiskers reckons it is probably the oil cooler behind the filter housing but as its a big job to get to that suggests changing the head gasket as well (head has tiny oil leak outside anyway) cos most of the work is already done by the time he has dug down to the cooler. Obviously if i have to go to that expense we will keep the car onother year, at one time i would have enjoyed doing this myself but would probably be off work for a month unable to staighten up before even completing it. Question does anyone want to buy this car as it is and do the work themselves in which case they get a top of range 7 seater with every accesory poss or shall i repair and keep? What would you do? The danger with changing a head gasket on a M104 engine in the E320 is that probably you may also have to replace the engine wiring harness as on this model, they disintergrate when moved.

My indy had a good look at that when he serviced the motor and gave it the all clear. Phew is my heart attack looking possible or are you just trying to frighten me?
