Hey Folks!

I just picked up my new GLS and loving the experience so far.

One of the features our Lexus had, was at low speed it would auto-enable the 360 camera in the dash to facilitate navigating.

I have roamed through MBUX but cannot find a familiar feature - Does anyone know if MBUX can do this and if so where it might be in the menus? :)

"video in motion" is illegal in most countries worldwide as its a distraction (aka where the driver can see a live video screen),

they appear to allow very low speed - the TV on mine literally goes off above 3 mph or so. Its often far safer to just look where you are going

On mine, there is a button on the dash which is marked 360 with a camera icon. I can only use the front camera after pressing that, otherwise its the rear camera that it defaults to. I don't think reversing cameras are classed as video in motion or none of them would work.

I see it on my e400 at speeds below 10kph or so, basically if i reverse then the reverse camera is on and stays on even if I drive forward until i reach the speed at which they disable, do you see this behaviour also ? if you are also interested in seeing the front camera then you can press the parking button, which allows you to flip through all the different camera angles, that might help at least until you reach the 10kph or whatever speed it cuts off at....

ok i tested this on my E400 today, and actually the 360 camera view stays on if i reverse, or go forward or change direction by itself as long as i don't drive above 15kilometers per hour, after that it turns off, here's a photo I took of it in action today as I reversed out of my driveway, and then changed direction and drove forwards... as you can see it's on and I can change the camera action via the controls, in other words the 360 system on my car shows the view once i enable it, which is automatically enabled by starting in reverse or manually enabled via the push button... and this view automatically changes to whatever direction you are going but turns off as soon as you hit 15kph
