Car runs/starts fine except suffering fuel and or ignition failure when going around corners, slow or fast L or R ? Able to keep running after straightening out and applying repeated fuel pedal applications..otherwise will die.
Placing jumper on 12v pins in fuel relay box works but relay tests ok?
What would cause this problem?
Stumped!

So there is no way that the car will go up hill either

absco, are you saying that bridging the pins in the relay socket cures the fault? if so i would still suspect the relay as being faulty, or a wiring problem some where. do you have an alarm, or the remains of an alarm fitted?

Bridging the pins appears to cure the problem but I detect a little burble, on corners, that was not there when everything was working. Mmmm the "remains of an alarm" is an interesting theory. There is an old warning sign in rear window advising of a radio alarm. Never gave me any trouble till now but.......
Where would you look for those remains?

Would first of all start it up and try swinging steering from side to side to see if the engine still runs .. the steering wheel turning may be causing your problem..so eliminate it first..just a thot..
