Hi,

I bought a 300TE 4MATIC about 6 years ago and its been off the road for
the best part of 5 years. I haven't had the balls to scrap it, so I'm thinking of getting it back in shape and on the road.

Front near side spring is broken, new exhaust, brakes all round need replacing and discs worn.

But the main problem I have is that the last time it was started was when
the RAC used a booster to turn it over - since then I can't get it started at all. Has anyone any experiance with these cars, that might be able point me in the right direction before I take it apart......:-?

get a new battery

fresh fuel

run it once in while, to keep her cherged up,

then start working on it.

Thanks for the reply mioba, the only problem is that even with a new battery fully charged and a tank of fresh, it still won't start.

This RAC tried with the battery - no luck, so used a booster and removed the air intake - then it started! As I said, since then it just won't start, any sugestions??
