Hi
Can anyone help?
Can you get a seat conversion for a clk convertible.
I've got three kids and am looking for a three seat conversion for the rear seats!
How will a 'seat conversion' make the car bigger to allow for 3 seats?
Even if you could reshape the seat, fit an additional head restraint and seat belt, you would have to change the V5 and inform the insurance company who would probably not cover it without some sort of engineers report, if at all.
Not worth it. just buy another car.

What you need is Mercedes to go back to making a convertible version of the E class -a genuine 5 seater. Seem to be trying to plug every hole in the market -some imagined and some real- but don't do the obvious like replace what was a good seller and a lovely car.
The old W124 convertible was only a 4 seater as well.
On convertibles the roof shape dictates the amount of room in the rear. i.e. rear screen is more raked than the saloon. Also the floorpan will be shortened leaving no space for 6 legs.
Manufacturers would rather make a comfortable 4 seater with sculpted seats in the rear than a cramped 5 seater.
Good luck but I am struggling to think of a 5 seater convertible
