Hi, I shall be bringing up to the UK from France a 500SEC with fsh 91,000 miles from new, H reg, RHD, beige leather, almost as new. Not buggered around with, original wheels. Everything works. Vice free. Should be available in UK during July. About 6k. Please send me pm for photos if interested. On behalf of UK resident widow of owner. Oxfordshire. But will be travelling through Norfolk, London and perhaps Manchester before delivery. Will have new MOT.

If I didn't live in France I would buy this car myself!

I can take a pic of the complete car tomorrow. As explained above I'm not the owner so I can't negotiate but I know it is for sale. When I discussed it with her, I believe she was looking for £6000. It's a hell of a lot of car for that. I have previously owned three of these beasts including a 560 so I know them well and this one is good with very few defects.

Theres a scratch on the rear grey plastic bumper insert. Also two small dents one by the filler cap area and another front offside wing. No paint missing or scratching and easy to miss.
Also a strange small area of what looks like a rust bubble on the upright of the boot lid which seems a very strange place. There's absolutely no rust or bubbling anywhere else including wheel arches, underbonnet and interior are all very clean - nearly new. She looks like a six month old car that's had a couple of careless brushes. I can take pix of any areas you want to see closely. The current mileage is 91K but you'll have to allow for probably another 1500 to bring her up from he South of France and get her MOT'd and delivered to the owner.

these and the next two pics are the only defects I can see. The front wing scale is easy to see. The second pic is the tiny dent (less than an inch) near the filler cap. The plastic scratch is offside where the bumper wraps round. All these defects look far worse on the telephoto lense than in reality where it's easy to miss them (apart from maybe the bumper)

It would be useful if you could place a €1 coin next to the dents to give people a better idea of the size/scale of then.

Very nice car! It's my dream to have W126 SEC. Gents, is it expensive to be an owner of a car with this engine in the UK? I mean taxes, insurance and etc. I'm thinking to buy a car like you have. But in Russia a car with condition like you have costs a fortune. I would say from 10.000 pounds.

Well actually I can't think of a way of placing a coin vertically except maybe with blu tack which I'm not too keen to do. The rear 'dent' is in any case less than the size of the coin!

I suggest if anyone's actually interested in viewing the car when it's in the UK beginning august they contact me. She's a real cracker.
