My mate has been left a 560SEL in a will. Its only got 93K on the clock and is in great condition for its age. There are one or two small area's of bubbling around the front wheelarches but nothing too bad. The worst part of the car is the bonnet, for some reason the laquer is bubbled all over the bonnet. I think the only solution would be a total respray of the bonnet, as I can't see how you could fix only the top coat. Any idea's I've checked out its value and its only around £1500 to £2500 if the paint was fixed. Any advice lads?

I reckon it would only be around £150 to £300 to get the bonnet sorted. Maybe even cheaper, so it would be worth doing IMHO.

Btw, what's he wanting to do with it sell it or keep it? But either way its worth doing.

I think he want's to keep it possable classic car runabout, if he can afford the fuel. It is some car, electric everything and it all works even the Air con.
