Can anyone help me diagnose a clunking sound from front end when going over rough roads or drains.
I've also got an annoying miss on idle only, no hesitation on pull away. Have checked leads, plugs, fuel filter, dizzy cap, rotor arm, vac lines.
Futher suggestions needed

Three areas to look at with the clunking noise are anti-roll bar bushes, idler arm bushes and the balljoints in the 'brake support links' (also known as steering support links).

These balljoints (LH & RH) sit in big lumps of metal fixed by 2 large bushes/bolts to the chassis. They should be easy to spot just aft of the front wheels. There is a repair kit for the balljoint.
