You don't see many of these.

Incidentally if anyone' s interested in a mint RHD 500SEC with fsh and only 89,000 on the clock in the best colours of blue black with cream /(or maybe it's biscuit) leather, this car will be being brought back up to the UK from France for MOT and sale by the widow of the owner at the beginniing of Sept. Photos on demand.

I guess the 89,000 is kilometres (?), but bringing even a pristine Left Hand Drive convertible to the UK for sale in the autumn must suggest a limited market, and with current fuel prices and used car prices, it would be even more difficult.

Is it worth reconsidering - selling in France and then just importing the cash, which is more portable?

Two different animals. The convertible is advertised as having 140000k kilometres and is lhd.

The coupé I mentioned with 89,000 original miles is a standard 500SEC and belongs to a family friend. Although it's currently in France it's UK registered and RHD.

Silly me - I looked at the convertible in the link and then associated it with the text, which I clearly didn't read too carefully.:Oops::Oops:

The cabriolet seems to be fetching a very attractive price at 140,000 kms. I would be impressed to see it match that in the UK at present, even in RHD.

Bon chance!

Well they haven't had any bids which is hardly surprising at that price. It's a lot of car but suprisingly unappealing given the good looks of the coupé. Much better a W124 320?

The price asked for the RHD coupé belonging to my friend's widow is £5K which seems reasonable once its got a new MOT.
