I have a 1990 560SEL which has the usual rot just above the front bumper on the front wings. Rather than try to patch it I would like to replace both front wings. Can anyone help me source them? Does anyone have any thoughts about whether secondhand wings would be OK or pattern parts, which may be cheaper. I have heard stories about the poor quality of pattern parts, particularly with regard to fitting them properly. Does anyone have any experience of this?

I also own a miraculous 1990 560SEL.

I am becoming frustrated looking for a source for parts, particularly interior item, like a driver's foot rest and rear speaker covers, etc

Let me know if you find a source please.

I had my 420SEL (owned from new) front wings and rear arches repaired and resprayed with non original parts in 2005. Still in good order now. Don't know the source of those panels, but http://www.carbodypanels4u.co.uk/mercedes/s-class/mercedes-s-class-1981-1991-w126 appear to offfer wings.
