722.6 dipstick measurements

I know I have seen this somewhere but cannot seem to find the post. I am looking for the high, low, measurements for a diy dipstick and any advice for securing the measuring end to the curtain wire.

Can someone please post again?

Hi Chris, you do not need an end on the curtain wire,just push it in till it rest on the bottom and it should be around 5.6cm when hot
