Following on from the success of track/driver training event held at Prodrive on July 19th, i am able offer you guys a Driver Training day @ Prodrive's test facility in Warwickshire. Date is set for Monday 8th August 2005.

SCHEDULE
8.45 - Arrive for refreshemnts (available through day) and saftey briefing etc.
09.30 - 10.20: split into pairs of 2 customers per instructor and also grouped to spread the cars evenly over the site's facilities. You instructor shall stay with you for the day and will firstly take you both out in one of your cars to show you driving lines, how to balance the cars etc. (demo laps).
Then you will each be coahed on a one : one basis for 25mins to fill up a 50 minute session on the activity.
10.20 - 10.25: Quick break for refreshments etc.
10.25 - 11.15 As per 9.30am but on a different activity.
11.15 - 11.20: Quick break for refreshments etc.
11.20 - 12.10: As per 9.30 but on a different activity.
12.10 - 13.40: Lunch. We head off site to a local pub/restaurant for lunch and re-fuel the cars from the local Shell garage just 200 yards down the road.
(After Lunch, we shall aim to run the same as the morning but with a lot more flexibilty)
13.45 - 14.25: As 09.30 but again, on different activity and running 40min sessions in afternoon
14.25 - 14.30: Quick loo / refreshment break
14.35 - 15.15 As 09.30 but again on different activity.
15.20 - 16.10: As 09.30 but again, on different activity.
16.10-16.30: Option to pix and mix activities as you choose fit. if you want to run some more high speed circuit, or handling circuit, or car control, this time will be allocated for this.
16.30 - 16.45: Refreshments and Debrief and end of what we promise will be a great day out and also, hopefully educational (unless you guys can teach us a few things, in which case, please leave a CV at the front desk and we'll be in touch!)
The afternoon sessions will be very flexible and we shall probably run the afternnon according to how much time you guys want to spend on each activity. e.g. you can if you want, spend less time on car control techniques and fill the time up with an extended session on the high speed circuit.
Facilities we shall use
COSTS
10-24 Cars:
£350 per car and first driver
£175 per additional driver on same car (max 2)
25-30 Cars:
£295 per car and first driver
£150 per additional driver on same car (max 2)
If you dont want to share your car with anyone,
and want the full 50min sessions of each activity to yourself
with personal 1-1 tutition all day: £600.
Non-Driving Guests: £20 Per person
NOTE: (addtional drivers without own car will share YOUR allocated time on track, unless numbers permit otherwise.)
NB. THIS IS NOT A TRACK DAY WHERE YOU DRIVE YOUR CAR SOLO AROUND THE TRACK. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ACCOMPANIED BY A FULLY QUALIFIED ARDS INSTRUCTOR WHO WILL BE COACHING YOU AROUND THE CIRCUITS.
Maximum number of cars for day will be limited to 30 and no more then 15 cars will be in use at any one time. this allows for a clearer circuit to be taught on and should mean the cars will last til mid day before needing to refuel. Also, tyres, brakes and engines get a breather reducing any potential problems liked warped discs, or blistered tyres. After all, you have to drive these cars home afterwards and the last thing you need is getting pulled over on your way home for illegal tyres! (the local police know what we do at the site, and DO keep an eye out in surrounding areas)
The day so far is booked up with mainly BMW M3 Owners, though we do have a Noble and Murcielago hoping to join the mix!
So if your interested, get your names down in a list below!
PLEASE NOTE:
There are some restrictions regarding noise levels etc.
any heavily modified cars will have to be prepared to short shift, just in case. dramatically excessive noise (e.g. 105db+ @2m / 6k rpm) may not be able to run at all.
