Hi all me again 
Well now my drive shaft problem has been sorted thanks to Ian I've also had a new coil and leads because after 5 weeks at the garage, halfway up a mountain and down muddy lanes, in awful weather, she wouldnt start. Anyway, I've got her back now but my gearbox is still the same. I've had a new filter fitted and new ATF. I took her out today to see if it was still the same...it is In D I get to 35-40mph and the revs go wild but the car doesnt go any faster, she just drives at 40 sometimes up to 60. I go to D3 and she drives ok except not fast and the revs are a bit high but she does move normally. So, is it a new gearbox or is there something else I can try? I love my old baby but if its a new gearbox then I'm in the market for an old banger, I've spent far too much this year on her now and the Lotto money's all gone
