Hi all,

Your assistance please. My radiator has developed a leak and whilst not too serious, I put in a "radweld" equivelant as a temporary fix, I want to get it replaced. I see that there is a brand new rad on ebay for sale but, my concerns are the part numbers. The ebay rad is part no 1245006303 and is described as suitable for a W124 E320 with air con but, the part number for my VIN number on the Russian site is 1245009003. Can anybody please advise as to the suitability? Whilst it is extremely cold and snowy for you guys, down under it's really hot here and I don't want to boil the engine for the sake of an incorrect radiator.

Thanks in anticipation

David

Try your dealer to see if they can give you the correct no.
Not sure where down under you are,but I appreciate that parts there are dear. Here,if I have an issue with the cost of replacement radiators,I send them to the local rad specialist, who usually turn them around within 48hrs,fully warranted.
Unless they've been done recently,on these I usually replace the g/box cooler hoses & the steel pipe going to the lefthand side at the same time, just to kill 2 birds with one stone.
