98 E300 TurboDiesel W210 - Headlamp Lens Replacement

Hello All

I've got spidery headlamp lenses, the mechanic said. They really reduce brightness, so I'm going to replace them - or is there a way to cure this effect on the ones I've got? Are they easy to get out? Will I be able to replace only the lens or will it be the whole unit?

Please do a search on polishing the headlamp glass, loads have made them like new, you can buy kits for this from halfords

I just looked at Youtube and found some demonstrations of polishing - I didn't know you could do that. I should have looked on Youtube before I posted here! Next stop, Halfords.
