Hi all ! Newby here.

I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me find the pulse generator or speed sensor in the differential of the car. I know my '99 M3 gets its signal from the differential and I was wondering if it was the same with the Benz.

I did some snooping around the forum and I think W202 have speed sensors from the ABS system?

What I'm ultimately trying to find are the wires that go to the instrument cluster to tell the speedometer what speed to read out. It would be nice to access the wire from an area easier than behind the cluster, but if someone knows which wire it is in the cluster that would be nice.

Thanks for your help!:D

The speed sensor wires normally sit inside the passenger kick panel

Hi,
I happened to remove the self levelling loom from a Scrap C43, and this loom requires a speed sensor input, i took loads of pics of the Loom connections into the scrap C43. The blue connector in the passenger side footwell is the ABS/rear axle speed sensor, the cable which I have between my fingers is headlight levelling loom, which if your C43 has xenons you should already have.
To gain access to it remove the passenger side front door sill it sits in the wiring channel approximately 6 inches to the rear of the kick panel.
If your require the pt. no. for a crimp for that plug let me know, hope this has been of some help.
