'99 E430 Sport--Code P0170-Bad Mas Air Flow sensor??

Code thrown for fuel trim --bad mas air flow sensor. If I replace MAF with new OEM part, will dealer's computer be necessary to get perameters back into range or after I clear code , will car's computer reset itself properly over period of miles?

You do not have to do anything. normally if something else goes wrong some time in the future, the codes can be cleared then.

when you say code??? if its been read & your mil lamp is not illuminated just change the maf but if lamp is on changing the maf will not turn off the lamp.
