This is a classic problem with these cars, we have had four in the family and only the c43 is good as it has a slightley different system, however the standard C,s have this problem and because it is an electronis set up there are no parts to lubricate.

Change the car for a C36 or C43 or live with it.

I had a 1996 C200, W202 model C-Class.

The throttle linkage in mine was by cable and, where it ended up in the engine compartment there was a complex assembly of cams, springs and lever, plus another linkage down to the automatic gearbox.

Mine would also get stiff, and I could make it somewhat better (though never as good as I would have liked) by squirting engine oil into all the linkage pivots, over the cam face and into the cable where the inner wire goes into the outer sleeve.

Then I did the same on the accelerator pedal hinge pivots.

It's a bit awkward and messy, but it does help.
