Stupid question but would A class w176 shocks fit in a c class w204? my back shocks are needing replaced, the girlfriend bought some coilovers there with really decent looking shocks. She put the coilovers in with standard rear shocks and didn’t use the coilover shocks. New shocks basically there just want to know will they fit okay in the c class? As far as I can tell there the same size, any help will be much appreciated

You can check the part numbers on somewhere such as - http://mb-teilekatalog.info/ or autodoc.com

My gut instinct though tells me that it is unlikely they will be the same.

C class rear shocks are not expensive though even at the better quality end of the market.
I fitted Sachs and I think they were £60 each. You can get Monroe etc for around £40 and some as low as £25 each.

Only thing about it tho if I get shocks I will need to get them shortened as my car is on air ride, and to avoid it bottoming out I had to get the last set shortened
