A Class boot light

One major niggle for her indoors is the lack of a boot light on our new style A Class.  Has anyone seen/got ideas about an easy way to light up the boot space as the solid shelf gets in the way of the rear compartment light.  Bad design or what?

Sorry, cant suggest any ideas for a boot light but i'm looking to buy an A class, what other niggles go you have about it, is a A160 that much better than a A140?

Have they not installed one in the new style  ? my a160 had a wee light below the bootlid.
