Hi all,

I have a 1999 A160 Avantgarde which has a Merc Audio 10 CD/radio fitted. I haven't got the code BTW but Merc may have.

I am looking to fit a bluetooth system that fits into the plugs at the rear of the radio. I am not too fussed if the radio "codes me out" as I will buy a better one but I have 2 questions:-
Are these standard Din E fit?
Is there a special tool to remove the radio as I don't want to stratch the dash. Or any tips?

Cheers

Hi,
You will need a special tool to remove the radio.
The part number is W 000 589 88 63 00
They cost about £1 from MB main dealers.
Or if you ask nicelly, they may just remove for you for free.
The job takes about 30 sec including walking from the office to the car.
The radio is a standard DIN slot
