Hi Recently bought A Class 99 A160 SA and the heater blows hot air despite controls set to cool. This happens almost straight away when starting up and sometimes stops by itself. Any help appreciated. Thanks SImon

This is probably the valve sticking, as they tend to stick in the hot position. What are the three numbers after 168 of the VIN?

Someone with access to the workshop manual will be able to help. I don't have this facility.

Hi, I have very similar problem at my A Class X reg A140 : the heater blows hot air despite controls set to cool. This happens almost straight away when starting up and sometimes stops by itself. Is it the same part number for my model ? And where I may find this valve sticking ? Inside a car or under bonnet ?
