A Class immobiliser fault

I have a 160 A Class with what seems to be an immobiliser fault, it just recently started intermitantly loosing power and the alarm coming on whilst driving. Now it wont start, i have all ignition lights coming on as usual but nothing happens when the key is turned to start.
Can the immobiliser be reset, bypassed ?

Did you ever get to fixyour a class? I have the exact same problem and its driving me nuts.

Any help would be appreciated.
