A friend of mine is looking for a small car and thinks of A class. I know the old model is not good. What is the experience with the latest? Any good?

Hugely improved. My brother has the A160cdi and has done about 14,000 miles with no problems at all. And on a run he averages 65-70 miles per gallon. The interior, the ride and the looks make it chalk and cheese compared with the old model. Feels like a proper Merc.

yup, we have the A150 new-style (W169). Very pleased with it indeed. A little under-powered, but only noticeable when loaded up, going up hills, when you need to work it a bit to keep in the right gear (we have the CVS auto box)

really nice car, no problems so far (in over a year).

I'm getting a bit paranoid now, I've just bought a 2003 A Class 170 CDI auto, really pleased with it, should I start to get scared about now !!
