A Class??? Really?

I parked up today at the services behind one of those dismal silver little Japanese hatchbacks.

Following a spot of food etc I returned to find that the dismal jap hatch was an A Class Mercedes!!!

What on earth were they thinking? I really thought it was a Hyundai or something :neutral:

personally I think the new generation A Class is one of the best looking new cars Mercedes have built its a far cry from the W168 and the facelift which was the w169.
I had the chance to drive one last weekend only a 1.6 petrol version nothing exciting and it drove very well indeed. don't get me wrong im a V8 fan so I wouldn't buy one. but in its class a really well built car I think.
there was on show the AMG Version which looked the part and im sure drives and looks different again.
just my thoughts each to there own

I keep reading about how much 'nicer' the new A Class allegedly is compared to its predecessor. It is, in fact, a completely different car.designed to do different things and aimed at a completely different customer. As such, Mercedes should have abandoned the A Class model name and called it something completely different.
