How much should I be expecting to pay for the 'big' service on my A-class? It needed brake pads as extra.
Its 18mts old??
Only, I nearly passed out when the bill arrived!!
Thanx
I know this is not a direct comparison, however an interesting subject. I recently put our E220 cdi through a Service B (30k miles) and new brake pads all round. Just under £300. I am in Belgium and I heard service and parts do cost less here.
For the record the simple Assyst A (16k miles) on the same car cost me £110.
We used to have an A160, and paid a service contract for the 3 years we had it, which turned out to be a complete and utter waste of time, as the car had 2 services in 3 years and nothing replaced at all.
