hello does any one had there esp abs light on done test and got c1140 and c1504 steering angle sensor any ideas thanks

Yes, seen it a few times now!

9 times out of ten new angle sensor needed,

Is the steering wheel straight??

On the steering column, just behind steering wheel, theres a lug that fits into the rear of the wheel!!

On the steering column, just behind steering wheel, theres a lug that fits into the rear of the wheel!!

yes the wheel is stright is merc only part or can i get it from euro and thanks again

What machine did you get the faults codes with!!

just to add to colin`s informed, experienced and always useful input. i have seen 1x A140 that had recurring angle sensor faults even with a new sensor. turned out to be play in steering column affecting the sensor alignment (uses optical sources and receptors, interrupted by moving tabs. tabs not going far enough into groove and causing fault).

Crap idea, would say, only good for left hand drive. but the fault is the same in germany!!!
