Had them made at a graphic/sticker company in St Helens, they scanned a template that i did. Now i know they look good i might get some 5mm red perspex ones done, think they will look good slightly raised from the engine cover .

Smart AMG Can i give word of warning .The locking wheel nuts with the snail imprint in are poor .You need to change them for a better set . The locking key is made os softer material than the nuts and it gives way just when your stuck with a flat tyre on the motorway . Ask me why i know ..

Reason i know is the same set was fitted to my Volvo v70 .And i was stranded on the motorway unable to remove the rear wheel.Thats how i know .Even a video on youtube on the very same locking wheel nuts ,check it out.

Yep, if done with the correct font and spaced correctly. There are companies that will make you legal metal pressed plates.

Agreed, mine have the manufacturers postcode and are BSAU stamped which is what you need

..My plates are original and were fitted by the dealer back in 1989 by Carols of Wolverhampton.But i did change the plate holder after one of the number plate screw fixings broke off. So the older owners take care, the brass screws dont like being removed ,they shear off first .,
