Hi,
can you please comment the statement above.
Can I use independent garage with original Mercedes car parts?
I know that will not affect warranty,,but how do you understand the above statement.

Better to put it as the first line in your thread than the thread title as there is a character limit which you've exceeded...

It depends, I'm presuming you have a lease and if so it is down to their wording as to what you can and can't do regarding servicing.
If it's not a lease and you juts wish to retain warranty etc then yes a specialist Mercedes Independent Garage will use MB parts and update the online service system. (Thats what the specialists we have on here do :))

Part is cut off, so it currently can’t really be commented on.

,,A full service history is required. The vehicle must be serviced and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's published service
intervals within the Approved Workshop network.,,
This is what is written in the lease agreement.

OK, but does it state that it has to be at a Mercedes Garage?
From what you've posted any of our Independent Mercedes Specialists can accomplish servicing in accordance with the manufacturers published service.

Hybrid and electric vehicles must be serviced and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's published service intervals by an
Approved Hybrid Retailer.
Details of the required service schedules can be found in the service booklet supplied with the vehicle or via the mercedes-benz.co.uk,,

That's all what is written for service.
What do you think?
My car is not Hybrid.

Blobcat's already answered your question. A Mercedes specialist indy garage can maintain the car. You must get it done at the prescribed intervals.

"within the Approved Workshop network"

That's the kicker - means Mercedes - you could ask the lease company, I'm fairly sure what they'll say (No...)

Their reasoning will be that the car will be worth more second hand having been serviced at Mercedes (it's BS but it's the small print you've signed up to)

I think so
Because its a bit complicated, that is why I am asking. You can receive a lot of misleading answers.
In my previous agreement were mentioned the charges will around £1100.
Even if they charge you can save more for three years if people are avoiding dealers.
,,Approved Workshop network,, means Mercedes dealer, if I am not wrong.
In my previous contract was stated ,,Mercedes approved Workshop Network,,
Now there is no word Mercedes-Benz,,.
That is why I was confused.

There are a few Authorised Repairers who aren't dealers - generally they were the garages that were dealers until Mercedes had a big reorg around the year 2000. I think there's only a handful, if that, left now.

They are included in the dealer locater on the MB website if you select 'service' but I don't think there's any way of picking them out other than to look at each one. Regent Garage is one: https://www.regentgarage.com/

Pretty sure this is the answer but as your agreement is with the lease company you need to ask them what they mean and get it in writing.
We can second guess them all day but only they know what they want.
