My CLK 240 is 500 miles from an A service and I've heard that MB dealerships occasionally do service deals when they are quiet, is this true and if so does anyone know when they normally are? - Thanks

Hi & Welcome,

I would ask your local dealership for their best deal :)
BTW if you are a paid up member of the MBOA (owners of this forum) then with the membership card quite a lot of dealerships offer discounts on parts & service.

Regardless of where you are, many MB dealers operate menu pricing.

Give them your Baumuster (first 6 numbers of the chassis after the WDB) or complete chassis number and they can quote you for an all in price.

They also have some room for negotiation so if you live within reasonable distance of more than one dealer, it would be worth trying the "so and so quoted £xx, can you beat it?" angle.

An 'A' service shouldn't be too bad.
