Well it’s sitting relatively square and level, so the ABC is working to that level at least. The damage is cosmetic, sensors are sensors and pfff who ever had a problem with a 230 roof?

Sounds like an investment to me. Gorgeous colour too.

Fair enough, I didn't spot the the level setting of the car. The interior isn't in great condition at all thought. A lot of tears and broken leather.

It was a very nice car once upon a time.

A lot of rust, possibly very neglected by its last owner but could be a nice winter project.
If I had the space I might be tempted but would haggle heavily on the price.

Not the worst car I’ve seen, not a particularly high spec though

New seats or recover in new leather and a bit of panel and paint and that would be lovely. Pity the mileage is so high.

In better condition than the average 6 month old car here. If it works and someone wants a nice car to drive in and park in London, etc and not worry about looks like a bargain to me. Unbelievable how cheap cars are in the UK with a bit of superficial damage. I went to look at a Volvo V70 from 2004 the other day here (I need an estate for 5 months) - 170k miles, but all service/MOT up to date, slight gearbox fault which meant I didn't buy as they can be a lot of money to fix, petrol (not so desireable here) and usual scuffs on each panel though no big dents - 3,500€!!! So more or less the same price as this...

If motor and tranny good could be worth a go for anyone expecting boredom in the winter, but unless cut out that rust will never go away and therefore not for me.

I guess it's true that it could be a nice project for somebody with the resources (space, tools, knowledge). In return they would get a nice car.

I forgot to post the reg, which is: "Y4FKP"

Its not that well spec'ed, staggered wheels, wood trim and keyless go, but for the money it could be worth restoring.

In picture 5 of 16, does it look two tone?

The rear panel does appear to be a shade or two lighter. Could just be the lighting but if you look at picture 6 and 7 there is a difference.

Could chop those rusty arches away and hide behind a 65 kit.
Still not tempted though, no space.

Not bad considering but I’d have to pass due to the AMG badge

One less purchase if fitting the body kit.
