2001 a140 automatic

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a later box (late 2001), the only diff i can see is that there is only one cable to the box instead of the 2 that is on mine. It would appear that the shift lock cable from the ignition to the box has been discontinued and instead it goes to the brake pedal.
