Hi!
Am asking for some advice on what can I do It seems that my steering pump an my A class is constantly working and the only way to switch it off is by removing the fuse from inside.
Even when i remove the keys and lock the car it stills runs.
Any thoughts of the cause?

Have a look at the relays beside the battery with the engine off keys out etc fell each relay the hottest one will be the one at fault.

There is also the problem with the alternators where this can effect the pump, it is normally a new alternator to solve this problem, but it must be code matched to the car

We had this fault 2 weeks ago where the alternator was not matched up to the car

The pump is fed via the alternator. See if the alternator feed is still live when the engine is off. If so, the feed or the alternator is faulty. If the feed is lost when the engine is switched off, it is probably the pump relay (part of the pump) that is faulty. The connector is below the screen washer bottle, bolted with an 8mm + a 13mm nuts. 13mm is permanent feed, 8mm is alternator feed. Earthed via a 5mm allen type bolt on crossmember arm.
