my A160 combination switch (wipers , high beam switch, turn signal) malfunctions again : it is randomly switching to high beam mode and i have to manually change it back to normal mode.

this is the second time is is happening. last time i had it replaced with no cost since i still had warranty. this time it looks like i will have to pay for it (or not?)

my questions (after searching the forum..) :

1. is this 'unique' to my Benz ?

2. is there something that can be done to fix it (maybe air pressure cleaning the dust or something) without having to remove the steering wheel ?

thanks.

Hi

go back to the place who changed it and get it done free. It is not a common fault.

not sure it's possible..

you see, more than 5 years have gone by since i replaced it...

why should the garage replace it ?

was just wandering if this is something common with the A Class... (twice in the same car, 1 driver throughout this period, very attentive and gentle... i find it awkward)
