A160 Central Locking

Central locking works fine apart from when you pull away it does not autolock so you are locked inside the car whilst driving. if you push the lock button on the dash it does lock you in, any ideas why this feature may have stopped working?

reset it using the lock button on the dash, hold it for 2 sec i think!
