Hi everyone,
My wife's V reg 170 has developed an intermittant gear selection problem. Sometimes you can only select the lower 3 gears, 2nd, 4th, reverse. The gear lever is soilid when trying to get up to 1st, 3rd 5th. If you stop, and select neutral it all comes back but only for one or two gear changes, it quickly locks again. The local garage haven't a clue. Anyone got some ideas or know of a Merc specialist near Carmarthen?
