you will find every a,class has the same fuse box, but every fuse is there for a reason, hence the ones your missing would be for extras, i,e, parking sensors, heated seats and any other toys your car Could have fitted when built, have to go and look now just to see!!!

Hi Colechelle,
i agree depends on what extras you have fitted, its just i bought this car as a non runner with fuel pressure problem and the previous owner had his mechanic look at the car so i have been trying to fault find and try to get it started, i firstly looked at the fuses and noticed 3 missing just thought it was odd, thanks for you help again

Would you say that number 4 would need to be used and 5 this model is A170 with automatic gearbox(not semi)

obvious number 6 is for FP(petrol)

Why do you ask? what is wrong with your car.

Them fuses i suspect are for a petrol engined car not your diesel, so i wouldnt bother if you dont have any problems

Hi, i bought this as a non runner and trying to fault find as it doesnt start, it failed on the leak test as no fuel coming from injectors anyway replaced high/low pressure pumps including fuel filter and still low pressure, as looking at the fuse box i just noticed the 3 missing fuses maybe nothing to worry about, i was told yesterday that there is another pump inside tank, another job to do!

i agree the fuses a most likely for petrol, just one is for engine module and the other is automatic clutch(would this be for the semi auto?).

It would be of interest if anyone has had this problem with the fuel issue, i also noticed unusual fuel(maybe biodiesel? which i drained) looks a bit cloudy compared to diesel
