So its engine and transmission oil / filter change time and just wondered on peoples choice of oil and filters.

So many types available that claim to comply with MB standards, any suggestions would be welcome.

Thankyou in advance.

I always stick to MB oil and especially the oil filter I don’t bother with any other brand but that’s just my opinion a lot don’t and buy any brand as long as it meets the MB spec the main thing is to change the oil regularly <8k miles

I also use MB oil - cheaper than most via the MB Newcastle eBay shop.
The spec you need is MB229.51
You can also check the BEVO docs (Google them) to find oils that MB has certified.

Thanks for the advice, all done and dusted and the box feels a lot smoother.

Only needed to buy the dipstick for the gearbox and the replacement cap.

Happy days.
