Hi Guys,

I'm new the the forum so hello :)

I have a 2008 A180 CDI Auto, have noticed the idle has been high recently. It will sit around 1000RPM instead of 800ish.

I have reset the throttle body a few times and it works for a few mins and then goes straight back to 1000rpm.

Do you think the throttle body needs replacing?

Thanks
Dave

Get it on STAR to see whats happening. Anything else is just a guess as its all ECU controlled.

From what I found on the web:

Ignition on, not started. Pedal to the metal for five seconds then turn ignition off then release pedal. Wait 2 mins and start varied driving.

Also found this on youtube, my car does this as well, but not all the time.

Thanks
Dave
