Plugged the car in to see if anything would show up regarding the suspension noise. Codes returned are

C160607 Left front suspension strut shut-off valve is faulty. A mechanical fault exists.
U11A300
Communication with the multifunction*
camera control module is faulty.

When having a look at the live data it’s showing the left rear sensor picking up a level difference

Is this just because the ground isnt quite level?

When I lift the car it stays up and doesn’t go down suggesting there’s no leak? Is it the valve block or could it be the compressor on its way out?

Car has no warning light and other than a intermittent grumbling pump noise after 15 minutes of driving which comes and goes
I suspect that’s the compressor trying to correct the level when accelerating etc.

Is the the fault "Current and stored"? I suspect not.

ABC is fully hydraulic and runs the whole time.
What year is your C217? Pre-facelift cars have ABC, post facelift cars can have ABC or Airmatic which is air based.

If the car isn’t sagging, then there isn’t an internal leak in the strut or a leak in the lock off valve in the valve block.

Grumbling noise could be the damper on the pump, they need periodic replacement.

Those level sensor values confuse me, why is one +ve when all the others are -ve?

I think this might need Xentry to diagnose properly, run the guided tests etc.

I’m going to re look into the level sensors as that could be my drive way being a little out.
This is the noise the clicking noise is my phone. You can hear when I press the pedal a little then lift off the noise appear when the car is levelling itself out

That's an odd noise. Sort of sounds like the pulsation damper as Richard mentions. They are hard to record, but very obvious in person around 1000rpm. A sort of groaning noise.

Those level readings are fine, and are in degrees for some reason, and should be in MM. Unless your driveway is dead level, they are fine.
Those codes are probably from a low voltage event at some point, erase them and see if they come back.

the auxiliary battery/voltage converter has a malfunction currently I have ordered a new one and should be here tomorrow, would that flag up those readings?

its pretty unusual for the pulsation damper to be intermittent. Yes its bolted to the top of the ABC pump.

The op in the Reddit thread says it was the damper (ABC pulsation damper most likely. But there are 2 others)

Star won't help with this one
I guess I just wait until it gets worse? As it only happens now and then. And when it does happen I turn engine off for while then it goes away doesn’t start up again straight away
