OK Chaps, so after much poking around it has been determined that my wagon needs the front ABC valve block stripped out and cleaned due to gunk buildup. I've asked for it to be rebuilt as well- new O-rings and spacers- and in order to do this have sourced the correct parts required.
These are all available from Polymax (www.polymax.co.uk), min order qty of 30 per size, for 10 pence each.
All O-rings in NBR90 (buna 90 Shore hardness)- quantities per block:
BS018 x 4 off
BS015 x 6 off
BS015 x 2 off
BS014 x 4 off
BS013 x 4 off
In addition you may require the square cut O-rings (spacer blocks), these are in NBR70 also from Polymax:

A min order qty of 30 of each part from Polymax will set you back £30. This is enough to rebuild each valve block 3 times over... a bargain considering the £1k replacement cost!
