I am the owner of a 2012 GL450 and am experiencing an ABS and traction control light issue. I had it repaired (wheel sensor and bearing, hub reluctor) to the tune of 723.00. However, the problem persists and the car sounds like it's grinding on the driver's side. Any suggestions?

Is the grinding noise coming from the side that was previously worked on?
If so take it back.
Any grinding noise is wrong, it could be stuck pads on discs but as you're having issues with ABS and have had work performed on it before I'd assume that they're related.

The ABS and the ESP won't work if the system detects an issue with a speed signal from any of the wheels. This can be a sensor or the reluctor.
On older vehicles the reluctor is part of the hub, but on those like yours, it tends to be part of the rear face, hub bearing seal.

If the air gap between the reluctor ring and the sensor is incorrect or misaligned then the speed signal will be wrong. If the ring is corroded then the signal will be wrong. If the sensor has failed then the signal will be wrong.

Not suggesting that it's the issue, but in the past I've found non-OEM supplier bearings to not quite sit on the hub stub correctly and cause issues.

Will add that the steering wheel angle sensor if failed has the same effect. Your reader will point to the which sensor error.
In my case, 2022 wheel sensor. 2024 wheel angle sensor.
