Hi

How big job it is to install AC to old W124.
Because stupid finnish tax system it is stupid to import a used car from other contry, I imported car with minimal options and now I am missin air conditioning. My plan is to byu kit from german mercedes breaker and install it in finland if it is not impossible mission for me. What parts I should order ?

Thank you for your replys in beforehand

I think you will end up spending more,  than if you had bought one ready equipped. Plus i can only imagine it will be a Herculean job.

Hi

I wouldn't bother with breakers. Find some body who still stocks the kit and buy. How much of a job. We book the car in for a 2-3 days. Some envaribly goes wrong or dosn't work first time. Its  the complete dash out, heater box assembly and strip. If your a novice. I wouldn't attempt the job. Its bad enough when you know what your doing .

thank you all for your replys.

i will forget it as you recommended and use an open windows.

I think that it could be too hard job for me to do, and to let professionals do it is more than half of the price of my car.
