Hi everyone. I’ve just bought my second S class but a diesel this time (2012 S350) and 5 days in I am regretting it I think! The Adblu warning came on and the EML at the same time so I’ve filled the tank with 20 litres of the stuff and hoped it would clear but it hasn’t. I’m waiting to take it back to the garage I bought it from but in the meantime put a code reader on it and get the following. I don’t just want to clear them until I take it back but do you think that it is just a case of the fact that the adblu was nearly empty or could it be the dreaded Nox sensors I have been reading about? Should it need a code reset? I don’t want to clear anything they may need but I note my reader (car Scanner) says the codes were reset just before I picked the car up which makes me a little suspicious…

Any advice gratefully received..thanks!

I have the same car and whilst I don’t regret the choice I’d say see how you get on but sounds like the faults of genuine were present when you bought the car so seller should put it right.

The ad blue has its own issues but there’s enough forum know how and specialists who can keep you going. Personally I’d use some anti crystallisation additive and drain the tank and refill it periodically as the basic steps.

I had an adblue warning and an eml light with no codes the other month.
