As above, engine light has came on a few times, one message said Adblue was unable to measure tank, most times no message though. After a few journeys the engine light goes out and all back to normal.
Codes listed are historic and are, P13DF00 - Adblue malfunction,
and, P204915 - Adblue metering valve 1 (cylinder bank 1) has short circuit to positive.

When the fault appears, the dash shows a blank image where the adblue tank level should be shown, but a few seconds later, it's all back to normal and shows an almost full tank with 6400 miles left. Been like this for 3 or 4 weeks now, car drives like new.

Anyone with any good news or is it new adblue tank time already?

As you have a code and a different issue to me there will be forum members who are better placed to answer and will be able to better guess what the issue issue.

All I will say is use some anti crystallisation additive if you can get it or keep the tank topped up. Once this urea begins to crystallise it can cause issues with the injector and level sensor.

I get what your saying, but, I've had the car since it was 6 months old and kept the adblue level at the max since then, not sure the keeping the adblue topped up even works at all anymore?
I've searched for anti crystallisation additives but find it difficult to find anyone who even sells it, can you recommend any?
All the ones I've found are selling it by the pallet or tanker load to haulage firms, or in smaller quantities on Amazon or Ebay by companies I've never heard of before, probably snake oil!
I've cleared the codes and so far the light has not came back on, here's hoping as I need to get it MOT'd next week!

Code indicates an electrical fault of the metering valve (eg the valve on the exhaust pipe)not mechanical. Wiring needs to be checked and of OK, valve need to be checked/replaced

Thanks, would that also account for the tank being ghosted out on the dash and the "unable to measure adblue level" message?

Adblue is a crap system and money spinner for benz. Mine was changed just before I bought it at 45k miles and 900 +quid! Good luck. Do post final outcome. I cud be next!!

How do you pump it out, I've go a pela pump but even the thinnest attachment will only go in about a foot and won't go any further, not sure if there's a sharp bend or something else stopping it.

I used my dirty oil extraction pump, the suction. Line fits down dipdtick tube, another result of makers looking to save 10 cents on sump. Plug!!!! Maybe was just lucky?, even after pump stops lifting sure some remain. But I hopin that when I refill with new I am mitigating the inevitable

You're adblue has a dipstick tube? Or do you mean the filler tube, cause mine will not go further than 12 inches.

I bought some anti crystallisation additive from eBay made by 3RG sold by a company in France. I bough 6 bottles despite it saying 25ml treats 10L.

I've seen 3rg on Amazon, wasn't sure if it worked though, how long have you been using it and what's your thoughts?

Well I started using it a few weeks back after a couple of ad blue warnings which, cleared themselves. The adblue was pretty fresh so just threw 50ml of 3rg in.

I can’t say if it works or not but but I’ve put my faith in the manufacturer having done their tests etc and ensuring the product does what it says.

Shame as Total does a Product called clearnox which doesn’t crystallise but can’t find that for sale anywhere.

I fancied the Total Clearnox myself but they seem to supply a tanker full to haulage firms in the UK, I asked them about 10 litre containers but they never got back to me. Found places in Europe selling it, but they only supply a pallet of 60 x 10 litres. Surprised nobody in the UK has picked up on this and selling it on.
